So, a squee! of excitement as I get ready for the jumping clinic at Hunter's Rest with Paul Stribery next weekend. Mr. Horse is not sound for jumping but he has recovered well from his lameness bout and he's torquing out major fun flatwork - he feels great and he's his usual bold, workaholic self. We had a awesome trail ride this week; he stayed so relaxed and soft, and when we stepped into the rough stuff he was all over it like a piece of cake. Just like he sucked down some jet fuel or something - must've reminded him of hunter pace country. Really hoping to do some this fall. And there's the possibility of a new jumping partner on the horizon - if everything falls into place right.
